A few weeks back, Cam Meeks blessed our pages with a brand new 4-track EP, Yellow. Short in length yet massive in presence, this project helped to provide the perfect soundtrack for the transition into fall, looking towards Meekins’ signature, easygoing sound to fully illustrate the ways in which the LA-by-way-of-Boston native has been living as of late. That said, while Cam Meekins is making some of the best music of his career at the moment, it only makes sense that he blesses us with some accompanying visuals. Right on time, the budding talent is here today to unveil a music video for the final cut on Yellow, “Fadeaway”.
Taking to the barren yet gorgeous imagery of the desert for this one, the latest release from Meekins finds him fully ingrained in the addictive melodies of the song. The way that the visuals so perfectly match the sonic direction of “Fadeaway” show a keen eye for detail, and further so, it reminds fans that Meekins is shooting for an incredibly high bar of quality and will accept no less. As if Yellow wasn’t already good enough, this video should tell you why you need to be a fan of the MA-bred artist, so be sure not to sleep.
