Just a few months back, Jackie Jones struck my attention with his soulful, energetic anthem “Way Up” – a record filled to the brim with the infectious personality that made me stick with the Boston native in the first place. Something about his cultivating lyricism and smooth vocals hit just right, and ever since, I’ve had an eye out for new material from one of our local scene’s most exciting acts, in my opinion. Today, he’s back on our pages to present a full project by the name of Twenty Minutes To Logan.
Only 21 minutes long and 7 tracks in whole, the young talent doesn’t overstay his welcome, giving us a quick look into the highly-impressive styles that he’s capable of. Personally, I believe that this is the ideal length for an EP, as it has me begging for more while still providing fans with a thorough look into where Jones works best. With that being said, Twenty Minutes To Logan doesn’t need much time to show us why Jackie Jones is most certainly not a name to sleep on, and this is truly a standout project for me.
Be sure to bump the new EP below.
