Rhode Island native and consistent hit-maker, Khary, is no rookie on our pages with the steady flow of music we have received from him throughout the past few months. With each new track proving itself to be a testament to the growth in artistry that this young artist has seen over the last year, the wave he’s running is simply inspiring in the energy that it carries and the truly incredible music that it has yielded as of yet.
Acting as the second single off of his forthcoming album, Captain, and the follow up to last year’s “2 AM Thirst Ballad”, this rising talent is on our pages today to deliver his latest Cloud Atrium-produced single, “4 AM Thirst Ballad”. This track details the nature of late night calls when liquor is involved and the emotion that comes with them, utilizing smooth, impassioned production to set the background for the vivid image that Khary is able to paint with each line.
It’s a situation that many listeners can relate to, and considering the thoughtful approach that the song takes to exploring the motives and feelings behind these calls, the storytelling element of Captain is off to a hell of a start. Khary is already 2 for 2 in my book regarding the singles for his album, and I will definitely be keeping this track on repeat to help with the wait for what will undoubtedly be a dope project front to back.
Be sure to show some love to Khary by listening to “4 AM Thirst Ballad” below and keep an eye out for updates on the release of the full project.
