This past year, one artist that stuck out to us among the crowd was Boston’s own Jackie Jones. His array of refreshing sounds and intoxicating flows never ceases to entertain, and as he gears up for the release of his forthcoming mixtape, Twenty Minutes to Logan, he’s already unleashing standout visuals that will get his 2018 started off on the right foot. With that being said, Jones is back on Graduation Music today with the Blake Kimball-directed music video for “M.I.T.” off of the new project.
Utilizing the energy of this braggadocious anthem to get the fans ready for the heat he has on the way, “M.I.T.”s airy production (courtesy of DM) and slow yet reassuring lyricism make it a dope single to ramp up the anticipation with. Not only does it create a fitting atmosphere for Jones to rap over, but it also makes for a great track to translate into visuals. The video for this one follows the rising talent and his crew around their home city, showing us how they’re living nowadays and giving us background as to who this artist really is as we await his forthcoming project. Be sure not to sleep and get ready for Twenty Minutes To Logan by clicking play on “M.I.T.” below. Jackie Jones is determined to show us who he is in 2018, and we can’t wait.
