When you think back to the incredible year that Boston rap has had in 2017, there are a number of individual success stories to bring up whether it be about Cousin Stizz, Vintage Lee, or someone else. However, one name, in particular, stands out when I think of who has showed notable growth over the course of the year: Young Seuss. Maybe it has been lyrical growth, maybe production-related growth, or maybe just growth in artistry as a whole, but regardless, it goes without saying that Young Seuss has improved his skills immensely since the year began.
With that being said, it’s only right for Young Seuss to loosen up after such a prosperous year with a hard-hitting new single, “Dysflexia”. In essence, this track acts as a how-to when it comes to flexing, the first rule being, “Know how to do it right”. “Dysflexia” points to this epidemic of people who don’t how to properly flex with an annoyed look, shedding light on Seuss’ confident cadences as he seamlessly complements the bass-heavy production and watches the noteworthy elements mesh together to make a banger that anyone can relate to. This release caps off a hell of a year for the young talent, so be sure to give it a listen below and get ready for the barrage of heat that Seuss hopefully has coming in the new year.
