Vintage Lee has been deemed by many the future of Boston, and with each song she has released so far, the Roxbury artist has continuously backed that up. It’s finally time for Lee to put out her debut project PiMP, and she announced just yesterday that it would be releasing on Tuesday. In addition, she released the cover art and tracklist, done by Greg Gaffney, and a website that you can check out at this link featuring her music and visuals. There aren’t any features on the project, but there are production credits from Tee-WaTT, M. Ali, LoLoTheGod, and Jew Paidro. Lastly, a beautifully done lookbook for PiMP merch was dropped last week featuring Young Suess and others that you can check out below.
One major aspect of Vintage Lee that I respect is her habit of releasing singles and other content few and far in between so that when they finally hit, everybody talks about them. Lee has fans on the edge of their seats and with her debut project finally coming out, it’s time for her to blow up and give the fans her best, something that I’m sure the pimp will do. Armed with infectious charisma, a sharp pen, and an amazing ability to harness energy, Vintage Lee is finally ready to take over. So support PiMP when it comes out on Tuesday and show the future of Boston the love that she deserves.
