$ean Wire – “Moon Light” [Prod. Tropicana Bwoy]

By: Seamus Fay

$ean Wire has become known for his smooth vocals and introspective lyrics in Boston and beyond, and he definitely didn’t forget those skills on his newest track “Moon Light”. It details the relationship of Wire and an unnamed girl, told by the point of view of the Boston artist directly to the girl, providing for a unique narrative. And with multiple switches in tone and delivery, the story starts to manifest in layers, only emphasizing the songwriting skills of Wire.

His vocals are very impressive to say the least, and the consistency and emotion in his voice with the lyrics is uncanny, a skill that not many artists possess the way he does. I can’t go without mentioning the beautiful production from Tropicana Bwoy, too, a clear highlight of the track in all of its dusty yet personal glory. So check out “Moon Light” below, and keep an eye out for $ean Wire in the future, because something tells me that he’s going places.
