Jefe Replay – “Ain’t Sh*t Free”

By: Seamus Fay

Jefe Replay is finally back with a new single from Proper Finessements titled “Ain’t Sh*t Free,” and I don’t think anyone was ready for it. The song is one of his smoothest to date, showcasing bar after bar about where he’s at today and what’s been going on since we last heard from the Roxbury native. Produced by JD. Reid, the beat perfectly summarizes Jefe’s style and personality. It helps to show listeners where he’s speaking from, on top of the game just laughing at everybody sleeping on him. Effortless as always, Replay’s delivery reminds us all that he’s one of the nicest rappers in the city without forcing anything he does. Every line on the song sticks with you, and I can already see all the fans yelling the lyrics of it at upcoming shows. This track continues to impress me heavily with Replay’s work, and I can’t wait for Proper Finessements. Go follow @askforjuan on Instagram so we can get the project soon. You can listen to “Ain’t Sh*t Free” above.

P.S. – Bernard Chandler snapped on the artwork for the song.

Favorite Lines:

I’m finna go triple platinum off Ain’t Shit Free tees, ya heard?

I know ya heard, early in the morning sipping Roxbury syrup

No this ain’t purp

When you get faded then get paid for it

No, this ain’t work

I need me two bands for that feature

Need me 300 million from Adidas

Jump from the free throw in any arena, ya heard

Ain’t Shit Free
